Tracy Making Home Affordable Program

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 provides for first time homebuyers who qualify  to receive a tax credit of up to $8,000 on purchases of principal residences that close escrow between January 1, 2009 and Novemeber 30, 2009, now being extended until April of 2010.  In addtion, the government is providing a tax credit of up to $6,500 for "move up" buyers.     For more information visit www.FederalHousingTaxCredit.com  

The California New-Home Buyer Tax Credit provides for buyers who qualify, to purchase a home that has never been occupied, to receive a California State Tax Credit of up to $10,000 on purchase of principal residences that close escrow between March 1, 2009 and March 1 2010.  For more information visit www.cbia.org
